Marengo Ridge opened in 1963 with nine holes designed by William James Spear; the club is now a full 18-hole, parkland-style course located in the northwest exurbs of Chicago.

Walking is permitted on weekdays at $23, then on weekends after 9:00 a.m. CT at $32. Otherwise the standard rates (with cart) are $35 on weekdays, then $48 on weekends and holidays. Sliding twilight, senior, junior, family, and 9-hole rates are available, as are memberships.
