Nice links style course. Challenging design, not overly penalizing, except for the most errant shots. Good shot variety.
Seems like the wind is always a factor here
Nice club house with locker rooms and banquet facilities. Driving range, small putting green. 3 practice holes
Points off on scenery/serenity with the railroad and airport on either side.
A few bunkers looked washed out due to all the recent heavy rain. Greens in good/decent shape, fast.
Cart path and bridges are showing some wear.
Ranger on course to keep an eye on pace of play. 10 min interval tee times.
Also half way house was under prepared for golfers at the turn.
Recent price increase make this less of a value on weekends and places this in the upper price levels for Chicago area golf.

Links style course we played in wind. First time was wind gusts in excess of 70 mph and course was unplayable. 2nd time was much better but still pretty windy. Nice course and reasonable when they run 2 for 1 deal.

With many pin placements and tee locations, this course seems new each time. You can hit driver on every hole should you choose, but offer valuable alternatives. Greens were true and smooth.
