Opened in 1973, the course is a Desmond Muirhead / Jack Nicklaus design dominated by very large, fast greens. While the course is well bunkered, it is rarely necessary to carry a bunker to reach a green. Water is in play on 13 holes.

Bay Valley Resort also has a golf shop, and can host group outings and tournaments.

The summer rates with cart are $44 on weekdays, $49 on weekends and holidays. Twilight and 9-hole rates are also available.
