Nice little course out in the country. Pretty well maintained. Greens are by and large in decent shape and roll nicely. Course is really wide open, especially the fairways. Not very long. Fairways are wide and forgiving, however they do have quite a few strategically placed mounds in the rough between holes that make for a really tough sidehill lie if you end of up there. A fun course to play, for all skill levels. We play there quite a bit, and drive in from Liberty MO to do so. It's well worth it as tee times are under $50, even on weekends in prime time, which is becoming more and more rare. Even goat tracks like Hodge Park are charging upwards of $50 on weekends. But not Hoot's Hollow. It's a better course, better condition, and priced less.

I really love this course. It presents just enough of a challenge to keep me into it, but it is easy enough to score good on. The course is well taken care of. Could have played from the blues and not suffered, but went from the whites and it played much easier on some - required creativity on others.
