Finally played Tapawingo. Pace of play was at a crawl. When we reached the second 9 the club pro was driving by and told us it was a little backed up so sent us to the other 9...why I don't know because I think it was worse. The conditions of the course were no better than the $40- $45 tracts all over the STL area. If they want to charge that price at least have the value in it. I think they are charging that price based on Brand name. Just because you were once great and everybody wanted to play there doesn't mean they still do. Word travels.

Good course, nice staff. Off the fairway can be brutal at least for someone from out of state and not used to the super thick deep rough. Course made you play shots rather then grip and rip. I would play again but think it is a little on the expensive side

The starter is a grumpy bastard and this course charges more than is reasonable in the Saint Louis market.
