Pleasantly surprised as I had not played here in a long while. Finished in just over 4 hours without ever feeling pressed though there were plenty of people on the course.
Greens are relatively slow but consistent and not thin or burned out. Accepted shots well. I'd give them a 4 1/2 compared to most places I've p. They do not break as much as they appear to.
Fairways are a little thin in most spots but playable. And the bunkers were consistent also with moderate amounts of sand...a problem at many courses these days. My only real complaint is many of the tee boxes are crowned which makes it less than optimal, and there are a fair number of blind shots.
But overall a very enjoyable experience.
It was a solid value for the money.

Given that I only paid $45 for a twilight round, my perspective is a bit different.
This course is among the most beautiful and picturesque in the entire area. It has somewhat of a isolated Corona valley feel but lusher and in the middle of Fullerton.
The grounds, foliage, and water features are at times stunning, especially 14. The course itself is challenging but fair and the greens are tricky to read.
Amenities, clubhouse, service and conditions were all very nice.
Can't wait to play here again. Oh yeah, and I saw a healthy looking coyote run across the 15th fairway.
