This Robert Trent Jones design boasts long rolling fairways, challenging greens and years of history, nestled in the Mohawk Valley of upstate New York. As our golf course is maintained by the City of Amsterdam, we are able to offer well kept greens and fairways at an affordable price.

The course record is 64. Holes 6 through 9 and 13 through 15 can make or break a golfer's score. The 13th is a 210 yard par 3, which can easily become 240 into a strong headwind.

Gamblers will love the creek in the middle of the 15th hole. But beware because this water hazard is 220 yards from the tee, which can turn par into double bogey with the slightest mistake in club selection.

One of the best views in the Capital District is from the 7th tee, boasting a 180 degree view of the Mohawk Valley. The 4th and 16th holes are also unique in their layout and subtle hazards. However, number 4 was always Robert Trent Jones' favorite.

The course conditions were okay but it's still early in the year. Some of the greens were recovering from winter damage. The layout of this course is great. It plays more difficult than it's 111 slope rating.
