Deepdale is located on the rolling hills of northern Nassau County, and the 'new' course here is a Dick Wilson design that replaced the original 1924 C.B. Macdonald layout when the Long Island Expressway came through in the 1950s.

Club professional (and Director of Golf) Darrell Kestner is an experienced and high-profile instructor who has qualified for (and played in) a long string of U.S. Open and PGA Championships.

Although the course address is the Long Island Expressway, the course itself is accessed from the north service road.
