This 27-hole facility is located in Denver's northwest suburbs, so excellent views of Colorado's Front Range and of Denver's downtown district are in abundance from here. Noted architect Richard M. "Dick" Phelps designed the Sleeping Indian and Cottonwood nines that opened here in 1994, while his son Rick Phelps designed the Silo nine between 1998 and 1999.

This course has a blend of prairie and foothills-style holes with hundreds of mature trees and plenty of elevation changes along the way. Wildlife such as deer, coyotes, and fox are known to traverse the property, as well. The large practice range is augmented by putting and chipping greens and a practice bunker.

The course is owned and operated by the City of Arvada, so it is very much open to the public. The standard 18-hole walking rates are $36 Mondays through Thursdays and $41 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays (carts are $15/person).
