The Diablo Octane drivers were forged from composite materials, permitting better distribution of club-head mass, compared with all-titanium drivers. The result is a lighter clubhead that retains a very high MOI. The Diablo Octane drivers were manufactured in 9.5° (RH only), 10.5°, 11.5°, and 13.5° HT (RH only) versions with a D4 swing-weight. The standard shaft was the Grafalloy Project X in graphite.
BubblyPop - 10/2/11 Octane Tour 10.5 degree. Interesting sound, but great results as far as distance improvement. +15 yards over my Cleveland DST Launcher.
sjbogey - 7/24/11 Straightest driver I have ever hit and longest. Gained about 7-10 yards over Taylormade R9.
Grinny66 - 12/2/10 I have the Octane Tour 9.5, slightly different look than the Octane. Like the driver, but not sure it's better than my FT-iZ tour 9.5. The longer shaft, on the Octane, may give me easier yards than than the FT-iZ.
