The SS-2.5 features the new ST-385™ "Hot Face" alloy which will increase ball velocity at impact while adding 10-15 yards to the distance for Tour-level players. The perimeter weighting system has also been improved, which further tightens the dispersion of errant shots and makes the club easier to get airborne. The SS-2.5 fairway wood is a mid-face model, which makes it ideal for low to high handicappers alike who want a slightly higher launch product.
