- Bobby Jones
Designed by Jesse Ortiz with the same technology as the Classic fairway metals, these hybrids are designed to replace the hard-to-hit long irons. Rather than designing hybrids that look like irons, Ortiz's philosophy takes advantage of the clubhead's low and deep center of gravity, its wide bodied triangle-of-stability (TOS), and its versatile contoured sole.
lynx72golf - 9/26/11 Best Rescue club I have every used
jalloret - 8/8/11 An excellent club. I bought my Bobby Jones hybrids when they were retailing for $199.99 each (I understand they are much cheaper now at about $79.95). With a price like that, the value rating is a solid four-to-four-and-a-half stars. That being said, the clubs perform as stated in the infomercial. They are easy-to-hit, and very pleasing at address. My three and four irons have the same loft as my three and four hybrids, but the hybrids have a much steeper trajectory. Depending on course setup, I'll replace the irons with the hybrids. My overall rating is 4.5 stars, but ClubSG prevents you from choosing half-star ratings.
mudman1756 - 7/16/11 problems with a 3 iron no problems with my hybrid
peter rodriguez - 7/12/11 This is one if not my best club in the bag. I use it from the fairway, rough even from fair way bunkers. my best buddy!
