Introduced in 2009 for better players, the J36 Cavity Back Black irons are forged from 1020 mild carbon steel for soft feel. The U-grooves are USGA-compliant, while a tapered sole-design permits more versatility in shot making, allowing players to ‘work the ball’ and more easily control trajectory. The raw black oxide finish (no plating) produces a glare-reducing appearance.
kickntrue - 1/18/10 Never hit these- but have played the non-black J36's and loved them. Assume these are the same- only sexier. wish i could give a 6th star for "look"
