The TaylorMade R9 TP Iron Set has serious performance technology in a classic player's shape and size. The High MOI and Inverted Cone clubface technology in every iron mean superior distance while the Velocity-Control Chamber (VCC) in the 2-5 irons offer increased consistency, ball speed and power.
larrymartins - 4/30/24 The TaylorMade R9 TP Iron Set seems like a solid choice for golfers looking for a blend of performance and classic design. The combination of High MOI and Inverted Cone technology promises great distance and forgiveness on off center hits. Auto Car Detailing Services in Hampton Bays NY
chucktix009 - 6/6/15 Why did I wait so long to upgrade? Straight shooting, smooth transition from club to club. Gained 8-10 yards. Con: little back spin on 9 & P wedge.
Hoselfader - 3/5/11 Great Clubs! I switched from Mizuno MP37 blades and found the R9 TP to be much more forgiving especially on thin shots. The launch is lower and flatter than the Mizuno irons and the distance is a little longer. The feel of the ball is not as sweet coming off the face as the Mizuno's but there is still plenty of feedback and you can work the ball quite nicely with these irons. Overall an excellent iron.
rwp1329 - 11/6/10 I switched from Callaway x-20 tour irons. It takes a few rounds and some practice to get used to these irons. They are less forgiving than my old Callaway's, but are way more workable for shaping shots. They look and feel great.Distance is not an issue.
jzamostny - 10/8/10 Switched from Callaway X-20''s and they are sweet, after a few rounds I really love them. They are long and easy to hit as well as work the ball
bgbells - 8/18/10 I picked up the R9 TP 51* Gap wedge and it is nice club and easy to hit.
