Introduced in 2002, the TA7 irons featured "micro-cavities" to lighten the top-line, lower the CG, and move more weight to the perimeter of the clubhead. The shape still incorporates a conventional game-improvement face depth with modern heel-to-toe blade length.
The TA7s were manufactured in chrome and gunmetal finishes in 1-iron (16°, D2) through 9-iron (45°, D2) and the following wedges:
PW: 45°, D3
GW: 50°, D4
SW: 55°, D5
LW: 60°, D5
