Heavy rain all morning. When it started to clear I decided to take a chance. Only had a 10 minute shower on #7, otherwise it was fine. Very windy, almost a two+ club breeze. Humid and mid 80's with partial sun.
Course was very wet in the rough and reasonably playable from the fairway. Rough was playable and not too long. Greens rolled fine and were just a touch slow.
Short game was on. Driver mostly cooperated but starting on the back I was hitting a push/slice and had to chip out sideways several times and hit one into the hazard on the right. After I got that sorted out I finished okay.
First time on this course. It is only 5-10 minutes from my parent's home. It is short but fairly tight. A number of doglegs and cross hazards require confidence in your distances. Next time I may try the "Blue" tees but the course would need to be dryer.
