37 degrees, about a 10 mph breeze and cloudy. Perfect!
The only course open in the area is our little executive course. Even then, only the first 7 holes were playable. I took what I could get.
Course was naturally very soggy. About 10% of the terrain was still covered by snow but the greens were clear. Greens were really furry and slow but relatively smooth. Like putting on a thick nape carpet.
After 115 days without touching a club, it was strange standing on the first tee. I hit a decent drive and then promptly forgot how to play golf. I slowly reacquainted myself with the concept of golf and swinging a club. It was pretty darn chilly for the first few holes but after that it was pleasant.
I plugged in "5" for the 8th and 9th so as to not make the score look good.
