50 degrees, sunny with a breeze about 5+ mph. Greens were pretty smooth and rolled moderately. Fairways firm and allowed decent roll.
I did not do anything well or poorly. I made several nice putts to save par but also had several lip out for birdie.
I was able to leave work at 12:30, drive there, check in, play 18, drive back to work and sit down in my office at 3:15. The course is an old style one with tees close to the prior green and one can really fly (plus it is short).
The best part? Total cost was $9.00!!
bkuehn1952 says:Thanks, it was pretty nice. #4 is just a straight away hole unless one yanks it badly left onto the Amtrak rails. My big problem is hitting it exactly 231 yards and straight since the green is about 30 feet by 30 feet. Typically, as yesterday, I am a little left of a little short or a little long, etc ... and need to chip it close enough to make the putt.
