40 degrees, little wind, mainly overcast. Course was spongy but playable. Greens were remarkably smooth for this time of year, not that it helped my putting.
I started hitting the ball well and slowly lost my timing until it was almost painful to see the results. Driving was okay but even there I managed to hit one OB and another into some trees just off the tee. Iron play was atrocious as was chipping & pitching. What might have salvaged some of the round was putting but I had the type of day where everything has the right speed but just missed on the high side or stopped 6 inches short. I am not complaining as I have had a great run of luck for almost 2 months. I am not good enough to carry on too much when I have a stinker of a round. That's my game.
This is definitely the last round in Michigan for 2012. We are going into the deep freeze in a couple of days and snow is forecast.
