Slight overcast to start. Breezy. Started out with bad luck off the first two tees. Pulled both drives just enough to catch branches on the overhanging trees that encroach on the fairway. Both resulted in tough 2nd shots. On the first, had to punch out from under trees and on the second was still over 250 yards out so making the green in three was my only hope on both. Neither worked out. Bogied both. Parred 4th, reached pin high bunker in two on the par 5 9th with a nice sand save to 6 ft for one putt bird.
Started the back off with Par, Par, Bogey, Bogey, Birdie, but 15 and 16 ate me up. Still managed a 40 on the back.
Shoulders and elbow held up better than expected after yesterday's round seemed to tax them a lot.
Decent round overall, but long game inconsistent.
DougEly says:No, 5i. Still not ready to play the 910. Not until I feel confident with it on the range
