Sopping wet again. No roll whatsoever. Rained heavily overnight. Temp dropped into low 60s. Still windy. Ball went nowhere. Could not reach many greens in regulation with good shots. Putting was pretty easy though. No 3-putts again. Greens were overseeded and quite slow, but true. Never played here before and started late. No way to make 18 without skipping a couple holes (and the slow groups playing on them). Skipped 5th and 6th. Used ESC score for those holes. Played the other 16.
Course was real tight on the front, but opened up nicely on the back. Was not enjoying hitting 2 extra clubs on every shot. And even then, came up short on a number of swings. Couldn't believe some shots I hit dead nuts and came up short, with more club than I would have thought necessary. Oh well. I'm in Florida. No complaints.
Tough course tomorrow.
