Very hot. In the 90s. My score almost was too. After a good round yesterday, today I felt way off. Took awhile to get driver going. Never had much confidence in it today, though hit many fairways. Had a bit of a pull on many drives. Putting was a challenge today as well. Had 5 3-putts. Not good. Course is dry and very hard. Extra 10 yards with irons. Greens very fast. My chipping has been dead on, but today for some reason, was long on many chips due to too much release, even after good backspin on chips. Short pitches were good. Pitched to 2' from 82' with 56W on 6th. Birdied 6th two days in a row, both with fantastic partial swing pitch shots. Birdied 11th with a full swing 56W to 3 ft. from thick rough, 89yrds out, after driving through fairway and trickling into rough. Unfortunately, also had 5 doubles today. Disappointing round in general, though there were a bunch of high points as well. And, shoulders both held up without too much pain. Iced both anyway upon return home.
