Best front nine I can remember, but even more impressive was my putting. It was on fire! Made 6 1-putts in a row plus a 10 footer to save bogey on 1st. Man, when you putt well, you score well. Seems so simple. Had driver working very good as well. Now, all of a sudden, my hybrids have become inconsistent. They had been so dependable all year. Back nine was not as good. Started out by 3-putting the 10th after putting so well out front. Then on 11 missed a 4-foot putt to save par. Got in trouble on 15 by landing in fairway bunker, right under front lip, after a bad bounce on an otherwise decent drive. Had to punch out with a wedge. Then came up a few feet short of green with 9 iron approach. Chipped to about 5 feet, but missed putt by a few inches. So, doubled it. Hit 6 iron off tee, over green on 16. Chipped to 6 feet, but again, missed putt to save par by inches. Hit monster drive on 18 dead down center, but pulled 9 iron left. Should have been easy GIR. It was getting dark, so I'll use that as an excuse. Played 18 in 2 1/2 hours.
