Another windy day. Back was not good, but somehow, I played pretty well. Wanted to play 18, but there was some sort of tournament going on and by the time I could get out, it was too late to do much more than 9. Drive was still a little erratic, but wasn't slicing it. Pushed one on 7 and hooked one off the first tee, but also had some great drives as well and hit most fairways. Actually played the 10th before dark and measured my drive at 270 yards. Hit it dead center, straight as an arrow. Had the wind with me and got great roll too. In general, all parts of game were pretty good. Hit 5 GIRs. Played the 4th twice since I had to wait for a couple groups in front and there was no one behind me. First time hit a decent drive, but an even better 5W approach to 12 feet from 200 out. Re-played it and hit a 193 yard 3H approach to 30' past pin and also got down in 2. Actually hit some real nice 3Hs and 5Ws today. Hope I saved some for tomorrow. Hope my back is okay tomorrow.
DougEly says:I'll be keeping tabs on the Masters tomorrow on my phone and will be planted in front of TV for it on Sunday. Thankfully, my yard isn't ready to be mowed yet. At least another week or two by the looks of it.
