Nice afternoon. Played with crazy Rich, the lefty. He had already played 18, then saw me and decided to go out for another 9 with me. We actually played about 17 holes before it got too dark, but on the back we were playing all sorts of practice shots. Only kept true score on the front. Couldn't hit the driver straight today. Got me in trouble on 7 and 8. Was playable on 7, but needed to pull off a great punch hook, and only was able to get a punch draw which left me in the far trap. Then hit it fat and ended up in the close trap. Finally got there on 4th, but 2-putted. On 8, had to punch out of woods on right, back into play. Still made bogey.
On the plus side, birdied 5th after a 185 yard punch shot off hard pan through trees to 28 ft, then made the putt. Also parred 2, 4, 6 and 9. Not a bad round, and coupled with my last 9/40, gives me a good combination 18.
