Wasn't planning to play due to shoulder discomfort, but thought I'd practice chipping and putting. However, when I got there, I just couldn't help myself so went out and played a quick nine. Had driver going straight and long. Misses were left straight pulls. It was good to play solo today to work out the issues of late. Hope I can keep the driver on track using the move I worked on tonight. Had a bigger turn back and through, and as a result a 20-30 yard average longer drive and an easier time keeping on plane through the ball. Consequently, all drives were straight, with not even a fade, let alone any slice. Drive on 6 left me 60 yards out from the blue tees. Got very little roll as drive landed in the left rough. Had it landed 5 yards right, on the fairway, might have been even 20 yards longer. For the most part, I was hitting shorter clubs into the greens than I normally do from the white tees. Somehow, have to bring that swing back next time...and forever!
