Pretty windy, but beautiful otherwise. Played with Michael S., Rich P. and Ken. Even with the wind, kept the ball playable all day off the tee. Hit irons well, wedges well and putted pretty well too. A few bad breaks and one well hit ball bounced into woods on par 5 10th resulting in a penalty on a hole in which I had a realistic shot at reaching in two. Hit drive about 285 (got very favorable roll) with only 225 left to get home. Lined up a little too far right, planning to play the hill on the right, but got a tiny bit too far right and lost it in the trees. Trying to get out after the penalty drop wasn't easy and came up a little short pitching thru the trees. Finally on in 5 and then 2-putted. Worst hole of day and it started as the best drive of the day. On 16 hit a draw off the tee and overcooked it, right into my hated bunker. two to get out then a chip close for a double. the second double on the back. Otherwise, a very satisfying round, considering the wind.
