Nice round. Played with Brian and George. Got around well with the exception of a few shots resulting in doubles on 8, 9 and 16. Hit driver well for the most part. Irons too. Pulled a nice driver on 8 just a bit and had to take an unplayable penalty stroke. Then hit next one well, but caught fairway bunker on left. Didn't expect to reach it from where I was. Hit my 9 iron approach out of the bunker just a touch fat and then had to chip on. Two putted for double. Just a bad 7i off tee left me well short, then chunked pitch well short of pin and 3 putted for back to back doubles after a 1-over round through 7. Only bad hole on back was 16. Hit a 9 iron off tee and got a tad too much left, hit green, but rolled off and into deep bunker. Flew it out and over pin to other side of green rough. Decent chip with wrong club (didn't have my 52* with me so used sand wedge), but a bit long. 2-putt for double. Doubled 2 par 3s today. Ouch. Otherwise, played very well. Almost satisfied.
