Near perfect day, both weather and for my game. Played well. Better than score indicates. Had only one bad shot today. All others were fairly good to excellent. Only putting was not great...again. Tempo and rhythm were very good. Played solidly with the exception of putting. Made a bunch of up and downs on the back and should have made a few more on the front as my chipping was not bad at all. Just could not sink a few easy putts. Played a ProV1 today instead of normal V1x. Same ball the entire round. Driver was very good. Stayed in good balance all the way through the swing. Nice finish on front side. Only missed 3 fairways I think and of those, they were just a yard or so off. Felt like I was getting all of the ball on contact, but found a few drives to be shorter than expected by a few yards. Wondering if it was the V1, compared to the V1x. Did notice a bit more fade, albeit slight, on a couple drives. Overall, one of my best rounds in a month even though I didn't break 80.
