Started with Ben and Richie, but ended up playing in a fivesome to my dismay. Played okay on the front, but on the back, after turning into a fivesome on the 11th, the wheels feel off. My score was much better than my play. Waited on every hole on the back for slow play in front, and then, playing with 5 (and 4 carts!) got me all off my game. I was not enjoying it at all. Couldn't find the fairway after the 11th. 2 penalties off the tee, one on 15 and another on 18, both due to poor drives I lost right. Thankfully after taking a penalty on both I reached the green on my next shot and saved bogey on both. I had enough good shots sprinkled in among the terrible shots to save a decent score, but there were way too many poor shots on the back overall. Started par par on the back, but then playing in a fivesome got in my head and I stunk it up in-between a handful of good shots the rest of the way. Seems like on each bad hole I had one shot that was good enough to keep me playing bogey golf.
