Played with Greg from Wisconsin, who also has a place here at University Park. He knew the course. It was a help, but still didn't score that well. Hit the ball off the tee pretty well all round. Found some water and bunkers on approaches which resulted in penalties or extra shot. Greens were very fast. As fast as OG. But rolled truer IMO. Even so, averaged more than 2 putts a hole.
Third time playing University Park, but first playing holes 19-27. Really like this place. Maybe play it again before I leave. Definitely next trip, for sure. Conditions were as good as they can possibly be. Fairways, tees, greens and rough, all near perfect. Would love to play this one regularly when in Sarasota. Maybe I can actually shoot a decent score once I get a little used to it. A bit pricey, but worth it.
