Decided to try to play nine after resting the hernia for a couple days. Played with Mare and focused mostly on her game instead of my pain. Surprisingly, I didn't play too poorly, even though the discomfort started to get bad after 4 or 5 holes. Drove the ball long and straight. Felt the hernia on drives, at contact, but was able to finish even so. The pain was less than last round, but still quite uncomfortable and likely it would have gotten much worse if I tried to play 18. Surgery looks like my only option.
Though the score was acceptable, it is a pretty easy course. So, I'm not all that impressed with my play. I did strike the ball pretty good for the most part. Only one or two I'd like to have back.
