Fantastic round. Even better than yesterday. Hit the ball with authority off the tee all day. Some long drives for me. Was hitting most of my approach shots with shorter irons than typical. Only a couple of errant shots. Hooked my drive into the adjoining fairway on 9 and had to punch it under trees and back into my own fairway on my second. It helped to result in a bogey, though this is definitely one of my normal birdie-possible holes. Score could have been even better if I just played that hole like I normally do. Throughout the round I would hit a great shot and say to myself, that has to be the best shot of the day, but then I would turn around and hit an even better one. I had so many great shots today that they all started to seem normal! Really felt good out there. I just wish it was an in-season round, along with yesterday's round. Would have dropped the cap, for sure. Been playing some really good golf of late. Now I have to figure out how to keep it up.
Played NXT Tour S again today. Used only the one ball. Actually it was the same ball I used all day throughout yesterday's round. 36 holes with the same ball. At this rate, I can stop buying balls for the year.
