Beautiful evening. Went out single about 5pm. Hooked up with Mike on the 8th for the back nine.
After hitting the ball amazingly on the range last night using new rhythm and tempo, was excited to get out there today to see if I could do it on the course. I was sure it was going to be a good round after the results of last night's range session, but, for some reason, could not nail down the tempo tonight like I did last night. Even so, played pretty well. Driver was not in sync, but kept it in the fairway. Just felt I was a touch off. Hit one or two real nice drives, but for the most part, did not make great drives tonight. Only hurt once or twice. One came up short in bunker and the other just came up too short to reach in regulation. Otherwise stayed out of trouble and didn't make any doubles. Chipping continues to be very good. No three-putts.
Right shoulder was getting quite sore by the middle of the back nine. Probably hit too many balls on the range last night. I just couldn't stop. I was hitting everything near perfect and effortlessly. Icing the shoulder now.
CeeBee says:All those tracks are in top shape. However I don't play them often as the prices are rather steep. If I lived a little closer to Frederick I would join Musket ridge. The most reasonable of the bunch and my favorite of the four you are most interested in.
Let me know when you are down and ready to try em out.

DougEly says:I have to. I may have to play with you someday soon. Don't want to lag too far behind you.
Headed to MD this weekend. House hunting. No golf. Really hope we find something real close to Maryland National. (Well, no golf unless I hit something on my way back on Monday. It's possible.)
