Played with three nice guys. One who played from the next set of tees back and hit the ball well. The other two played with me from the platinum tees. Two of the guys play the course weekly so were able to give me some guidance.
It was sunny, but extremely breezy. 2-3 club wind so was not too upset with overall score. Putting was definitely affected by wind resulting in a few 3-putts. Hit the ball fairly well otherwise, considering I was not feeling like my shoulder was going to be able to get through the day when I woke up. Was getting too much spin off driver in the strong wind. Really hurt distance on a bunch of drives.
Chipped to 1" after going over green with 8 iron on par 3 15th. Played extra club due to wind.
Missed a bunch of well-stroked putts that I still don't know how they didn't go in.
Course was in excellent condition. Even better than University Park was yesterday, which is usually the best anywhere down here. Look forward to playing both again in February, if not one more time before the end of the week.
