65 degrees. Course packed. Played from the blue tees with the exception of one of the par 5s. Got out later than I was planning and as a result ended up waiting on every hole. First open tee time wasn't till after 1 pm. It was wide open then, but the course was full in front. Finally hooked up with a single behind me, John, who caught up after starting about a 1/2 hour behind me. We went back around the front for a second nine as there were 3 groups waiting on 10 and no one on the front.
Playing the blues was difficult for me because they were all the way back in many cases and I had minimal chance at GIRs on them. However, the whites were up where the reds usually are on a few holes so I decided the blues were the better choice today. Plus, I wanted to give them a shot today anyway, since the temps weren't so cold that they would limit ball flight too much.
Even though I shot a decent score, it wasn't as much fun as having reasonable approach distances into greens from the whites. Hopefully on Sunday, the whites will all be back where they belong.
Almost chipped in for eagle on 5th. Had an uphill, 5 yard chip. Hit pin and rolled a few inches away.
Didn't really track shots the second time around the front.
