65* overcast, kind of humid actually.
Okay, great score. HOWEVER, played from the whites and they were pretty far up on many tees. BUT, the breeze was up too, adding a bit of difficulty and complexity to things.
Had the course basically to myself. Took my time and thought through most shots and putts. No rush. Was in the groove. No real poor shots. A few mistakes though. Missed 3 more realistic birdie putts from 10 feet or less. On 18th, birdie putt stopped 1/4 inch short, literally. Can't believe it didn't fall.
Very happy with my game lately. Today showed me what it might be like if only I could get another 30 to 40 yards out of my drive. This game is a lot easier when you are hitting wedges and short irons in than hitting hybrids and fairway woods half the time. Had a bunch of holes today I actually chipped on my 2nd/3rd shot to get on the green in regulation. Almost drove the green on 11. Chipped on from 5 yards short of green. Chipped on for eagle on par 5 5th. Came close. Again on par 5 13th. Was alongside the green after hitting driver/4W to 2 feet right of green. Felt like Bubba golf.

CeeBee says:I like it too. As I get older my drives get shorter. If I had to hit the long clubs into all the par 4's I would eventually stop playing. 6000 at WM in the summer is fine. I have played the Blues there in the past. Not much fun.
