35-38 degrees, a bit of sun but hazy to cloudy most of the time. 5-10 mph wind. It was pretty chilly until I walked a couple holes and warmed up.
Fairways were a bit soft but dry. Most times I got a bit of roll and a few times a decent roll. Greens were slow and a bit bumpy but overall were decent.
Hit the ball well. Putted decently. The one issue was some of the hole placements. I suspect to preserve most of the green, they put the holes really close to the edge - like 4 or 5 feet. My one double was a result of this approach. The green has a large mound in front and the green runs away. The hole was right on the front edge and I tried to get too cute with a flop, came up short, chipped on, 2-putted for double (grrrrrrr!).
It was really nice to be able to hit a ball without mud and water flying all over the place.
I also need to remember to bring some peanuts in the shell next outing here. On the back nine some of the fox squirrels are really tame and come up to you, stand on their haunches and beg for food. The aggressive little buggers wouldn't leave me alone. They offered to check inside my bag in case I forgot about the treats for them.
