Found something on the range that was working with driver swing, and surprisingly, I was able to take it to the course. Probably won't be able to keep it working, but it worked today. Hit lots of satisfying drives. Good ball flight. Only had two somewhat weak drives which faded right. On the par 5 5th, ended up in back greenside bunker on 6th hole. Push faded it right off the tee. Never had a chance. Luckily, was playable. ANd on par 5 13th, weak slice off the tee, while trying to apply new move to swing. Otherwise, driver swings were pretty good with mostly positive results.
On 12th, applied same move to 3W swing (that I was using all day with driver) and hit it 10 yards further than expected, through the fairway and into the fairway bunker. Had no chance to get it out, over the hazard and close to the green from the bunker, so just wedged it out. Hit a good hybrid from an extreme downhill lie to just right of the green, but pitch stopped well short of the ridge I needed to get over in order for it to roll down closer to the pin. Consequently 3-putted for triple.
Was very happy with driver swing on all but a few today. Iron play continues to be sharp. Putting was just okay.
