Still working on the driver swing. OK for most drives. Putting pretty good after 2-hour putting & chipping practice session yesterday. Hit what I thought was a pretty good, albeit a bit right, approach on 3rd going for green in reg. Could not find so had to drop where it crossed hazard and take penalty. Hit 58 from there, just past pin, but missed 6 foot downhill putt. On 8th, had 130 in and dropped 8 iron from rough to 7 ft. Made putt for bird.
On 12th, after good 3W off tee had downhill fairway lie to uphill green over hazard. Chunked it into hazard and almost broke my hybrid over the cart I was so pissed! But I kept it together, dropped another and hit it just off the back of the green. Salvaged a double with another penalty. 2 crappy drives on 16 and 18 made pars nearly impossible. Happy with bogeys on both considering the poor drives.
