It was 55 degrees and not much wind at 6:50am and by the end (9:30am) it was about 70. Very nice.
Fairways were firm. Greens fast and firm, hard to hold.
Starting on #10 is hard because the approach is over tall cattails & weeds and the green & surrounding area are not visible - blind shot. I thought I hit a good shot but I must have been just short and in the weeds. Went back, dropped and made my double. Same thing on #12 but I managed to hit it close after losing the first. Generally was just a hair off and paid for every misstep.
Once on the front nine things came together better although I continue to make the error of hitting 3-wood layups on par 5's when a lesser club would do fine. Chunked a couple from slightly downhill lies or grassy lies.
