Hot and Humid. Started off again on the wrong foot with a double on the first. But things got better. Still fighting driver, but my putting has been so good since my 2-hour practice session last week, and now with the new midsize grip, I am loving it. Really putted well today. 3-putt on 4th was really 2 putts and a 3rd from 4 feet out in the fairway. Putted it 10 feet by, but dead online. Missed the comebacker by an inch. Saved lots of pars with great one-putts today. If I only hit a few more greens it could have been an even better day. Just off a touch with iron approaches. However, hit them well off the tee on the par 3s all day. Missed only one par 3 green, and only by three feet, which ended in a chip from rough to well past pin and a 2-putt bogey. Otherwise, on the other three par 3s I was within 8 feet on all. Sunk two for birds. Just missed the 3rd. Burned the edge. Think I hit pin and ricocheted to two feet away on 15. Thought it might have gone in for ace. Couldn't see base of pin from the tee, but it was right at the pin and I swear I heard it hit.
Game was only about a B- today, but putting was an A.
