Hot and humid. Played with Russ, who walked again, as usual. Started off on the blue tees, but my driver was so bad today, I switched back to the whites after the 3rd hole.
My driver was atrocious. No distance whatsoever. Getting some help on Thursday with the assistant pro. Lesson will focus on refinding my driver swing. Even Russ commented how much my driver is holding my otherwise solid game back. He's sure it's in my head. "You can't hit your irons and wedges as well as you do and hit your driver that badly. It doesn't compute."
Though there were a few bad shots other than driver on the front, in addition to a less than stellar putting on the front, I hung in there with the rest of my game with the exception of a duffed chip on 2. Driver hurt the whole round, but I pulled the rest of my game together and shot 40 on the back, even with the shitty driver. I am lost, but hopeful the lesson will help.
