Al and George have been trying to hook up with me for a few months since we last played together at WM. Finally got to play with them at this course, which I have been wanting to play for awhile. Unfortunately, brought my C- game. Driver was weak. Gave up on myself after many poor shots. Lost 7 bucks to them.
Found the course tougher than WM, but the next time around I will have a better idea of where not to hit the ball. Found myself in 2 or 3 bunkers, of which I did not realize were even there when standing over the ball. Greens were fast, but fair. Only won two skins all day. Hit irons well again, but that was the only thing I did well. Had a couple well-deserved penalties due to poorly hit shots. No excuse about not knowing the course there.
Didn't keep stats (other than putts), 'cause I was keeping all scores and had no time or room on the card. Had a hard enough time just figuring out where I was and what to attempt next. Hope to get another shot at this place soon with at least my B+ game, some knowledge of the track under my belt and a better mindset. I think I might have a chance next time.
