Still using the same ball I started yesterday's round with. Considering that it was blowing hard then and harder today, it's quite an accomplishment. 20-30 mph wind today by back nine. Started about 15-20 mph. Played better than score, but wind was tough. It was blowing putts all over the place.
Parred 5th after hitting driver into deep fescue on left. Ball was sitting up. Decided to give driver a shot from there. Made good contact and hit it straight, but didn't reach due to the tough wind. Still on in regulation with a 105 yard 8i into the stiff wind, to 10 feet.
Shot of the day was after a poor drive on 10th into wind. Ended over on 14th tee box, 161 yards out. Hit 5 iron off front side of tee box, directly over pond, landing it next to the back pin. It didn't quite hold, so I had a 58* chip back on to 2 feet to save par.
Overall, not a bad day considering the tough conditions.
