Only nine again. Played the back today to get in the full 18 over the last two days. Busy morning at home and rained until noon anyway. So went out at 2:30. Still not feeling great, but a little better than yesterday. Played a touch better too, but don't seem to be getting through the ball as much as I was and I think it is due to my subconscious protecting my lead shoulder. When I forced myself to get through, I hit the ball better, but I felt discomfort in the shoulder. Chipping touch is missing right now. Putting, all over the place.
Had a 2 club wind, maybe 20 mph or so. On 17, they had the tees waaaay up. Measured only 119 yds. I grabbed 9 iron, but standing over it a good gust blew and I realized it wouldn't be enough. So went back and got 8 iron. Hit it flush. Soon as I hit it I thought "Oh shit" it's gonna land all the way on the back of the green, if not over it. The pin was up front. It landed 5 yards short of the pin. Glad I clubbed up.
Nothing spectacular today. Just glad I got in nine. Gonna be cold for a few days. Probably last time out in 2016.
bkuehn1952 says:C'mon Doug, go for the End/Beginning of the year bookends. Play 12/31 and 1/1. You can do it! Ignore those aching shoulders and bad weather and limp on over to the club tomorrow and Sunday!! ;)

CeeBee says:Yes it did get rather windy. We were down the road at P B Dye. Distance doesn't matter. Getting the ball in the hole does.
