Started out very foggy and maybe 45 degrees. No wind. Gradually cleared and became sunny and 55 degrees.
They only had the "flat 7" open. Very wet. Greens soft, slow and bumpy. They looked like a winter green should look like - shitty.
I did not play #8 and #9 and just stuck in a par and bogey. First two holes one might wonder if i had ever played golf. I was headed to a double or worse on #1 when I canned a 10 footer for bogey. Then proceeded to boot that miracle away with a 3 putt on #2.
I had gone to Fox Hills originally but they were closed (too wet). I though about heading to Fellows Creek but I figured that would be a zoo. Maybe tomorrow. As it was, it was so foggy at Huron Hills that it was only me and a twosome for the first hour or so. When the fog cleared and the sun came out the hordes arrived but I had finished seven and started my 2nd loop. Good timing.
