45 degrees, dense fog, no wind.
Course was saturated. Essentially unplayable in many spots. Greens were okay.
I pulled into the parking lot and there was one vehicle there. As I walked to the clubhouse a guy came out and asked if he could help me. I asked if the course was open and he said "Not really, we got another inch of rain last night and everything is a soggy mess." I asked if he minded if I went out and he said fine, walked to his truck, and left. I was the sole golfer there today.
I hit a few good shots, lots of fat "splat" shots. It was fun nonetheless. And free!
