Beautiful Spring day. Got up to 86 degrees on the course. Played with Will. Rough is getting thick. Shots much tougher than they were even a week ago. Greens still quite bumpy. Got me a few times on the back. Driver distance was okay, but was all over the place. Poor drive on 9th left me in right fairway bunker, close to the lip. Got a good hybrid on it but had to hit it very high to get over the lip. Landed in deep thick rough, just left of fairway, still 158 out. Chopped down hard on it to get clubface to the ball with same hybrid. Put it 6 feet from the pin (shot of the day) and 1-putted for birdie. Had a decent front.
Three 3-putts on the back ruined an otherwise decent 2nd half.
Icing both shoulders now. The thickened up rough (which seemed to happen over a couple days) is putting added strain on shoulders when the ball sits down.
