Fantastic front, could have even been better without the 3-putt on first. Birdied the #1 handicap, 3rd hole, with an awesome 3W approach, up hill to 4 feet past the pin. Doubt I have birdied that hole more than 4Xs in over 200 rounds. Really swinging with great tempo right now. Had many birdie putts, but, at least partially due to the bumpy condition of the greens at present, didn't make any other birds today even though I hit a lot of GIRs, many with very make-able birdie putts.
Driver continues to be pretty good. Missed left on a few iron approach shots, my biggest problem of the day (which was not that big). After shooting an even par 36 on the front, I think I tried a bit too hard on the back. A couple better breaks and this could have been a great 18. It was a very good front nine.
Very happy with ball-striking overall.
Iced left shoulder. Have played 5 of the last 6 days and it is hanging in there, not hanging off, as would be expected.
